Why does Yahoo have shady links on their front page

Why in the world would Yahoo allow such a thing

   

  Today, While doing what I do everyday, I came across an article on Yahoo's page about a ship that was lost 90 years ago, that has now just returned. It has a picture of an old pirate ship, so I was instantly hooked. Of course I clicked the link, that is on Yahoo's Front page labeled as sponsored.
 It looks a little something like this. Be very careful do not click on the image.

This is a scam or hack of some sort.






 I can not for the life of me figure out why, This hasn't been taken down from their page, or why it was allowed here.
  As soon as the link is clicked you are redirected to a scam banner. Then the pop-ups come piling in one after another.

   How many people does Yahoo have working for them.. By the looks of their office, I'd say more than enough to fix this issue.  I mean don't get me wrong, I have missed plenty of bad links and such on my sites.  However I am just one person with a lot on my plate. I don't have a whole team working for me, Nor do I have the layers of security that they have.  This is why I find it so surprising that this is even an issue to be dealing with.


I tried to contact Yahoo to inform them of this issue, I did not have any luck doing so. Which is why I am sending this blog out at the moment. I don't want to harm Yahoo's credit in any way.  Nor am I hear to bash them, For we have all made mistakes.  My only intentions is to keep you guys from having the same issues as I. Don't get stuck with 2 hours of debugging your system.
 Just stay away from the old ship and its sponsored ad.



   Don't get me wrong, I still have much respect for Yahoo and the work they do. With that said, I do believe that this is one person that will be making the switch to Google, even though I still will have that special place in my heart for my first real search engine Yahoo...
 For now so long old friend,
You served me well, You pointed me in the directions that I needed, and You were always there. It has been real, and it has been fun, Tho it wasn't always real fun. We laughed, and we cried, we both have grown, now it's time that I move on.. So Long.

Teens are Doing what? No way.!.! This isn't what Granny said would happen!

Claims that Teens Birth Rates Have Hit An All Time Low

   Teen pregnancy rates are now lower than ever before, a new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention out Thursday reveals, and it's not for the reason popular culture might lead you to suspect. While analysts do attribute the stark drop in teen birth rates — with, notably, a nearly 50 percent drop among Hispanic and black teens in particular — to better access to more effective contraception, and possibly better education on parenting, they also contend that teens today are simply having less sex. The Washington Post reports, Even though our mind set would have you think otherwise.

...teens — despite their portrayal in popular TV and movies as uninhibited and acting only on hormones — are having less sex.
'There has been a change in social norms that has happened in the past 20 years, and the idea of not having sex or delaying sex is now something that can be okay,' said Bill Albert, chief program officer for the National Campaign To Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy. [The Washington Post]

   All in all, in the last 23 years teen birth rates have plummeted by 60 percent. In 1991, teen birth rates were 61.9 per 1,000. In 2014, teen pregnancies hit a low of 24.2 births per 1,000. Which I will personally content is a huge difference, Especially when we are talking about hundreds of those 1,000's. 

   Here at Stilllivin4now, we are not against having little ones by any means. In fact, My wife and I have 5 beautiful children, that mean the world to us. 
  I could insert the boring facts of how we met, and dated forever before getting married, and starting our family.  How we waited till we thought we were ready, planned it all out, and we lived happily ever-after.  

   We all know that isn't how things go, we did wait until I had what I thought was my dream job, and of course we were waiting until we thought we was ready. Though you're never ready for your first baby. Either way, we thought we was on the right path, before long we had another, then another, see a pattern here...  Not long after I had my last child number five (my boy by the way the first four were all girls), there must have been a major planet shift, that included the moon and the stars apparently. Because I lost my dream job.(this was my bread and butter, Kids and life are both very expensive) Everything but bankrupt in no time flat. Of course this is not an option when your a father and a husband. With that said it's time to dig deep and drive on.

   Planned or unplanned, Teens or full grown adults, Everyone will have challenges they must overcome along the way.  


   For what ever reason that teens birth rates have dropped we are grateful, we do hope that it's due to education and responsibility. 
  
   From both sides, Male and Female, these young fathers, and fathers to be. Have to stand up and take responsibility for their actions.
 Just maybe the reason for the drop is due to the fact that we are growing more responsible, the word gets out more each day. With social media sites like YouTube and Facebook. People deliver the message daily, Just as I am doing right now. 
   What ever it is, It is working, so we must keep up the hard work. If only this helps one young couple, it was all worth it. I'd type a million of these articles if it meant that one person each time was helped. (just the kinda of guy I am).
